We would like to thank and acknowledge a number of individuals, institutions and organizations for their contributions to society. Their contributions are in the forms of information and education about this great passion of gardening we enjoy. These they have made free to the general public. Through their willingness to share the wealth of information they have obtained in their chosen field many persons have benefited.
Many of these individuals have contributed to Wikipedia their knowledge in the field of gardening as it relates to science through their writings. Others have chosen to submit many of the beautiful images of plants and flowers that we have used to some degree. Much of the text about the various species were gleaned from the pages of Wikipedia. Most of these folks have released the rights that they have for these articles and images to the public domain, for which we are truly grateful.
The many institutions of higher learning that have contributed to the research and education on all aspects of gardening and landscaping have contributed immensely to the enrichment of our lives. We are indeed most thankful.
The State and Federal Agencies and Societies which continue year after year to provide us as a Nation with valuable information on all areas of our lives. This information and research benefits us in more ways than just the recreational aspect. We ask that you consider contributing to these organizations in whatever way you can. Not all of these tremendous organizations are funded with taxes. They rely on funding from individuals and corporations.
